Ronald E. Shephard

Ronald E. Shephard passed away July 1, 2018 after a short illness. He was born February 27, 1935 in Buffalo, NY. Most proud of being an Airborne Paratrooper 1954-1956 during the Korean War, and a Member of Elks Lodge 335. He is predeceased by his parents George and Ruby Shephard. He is survived by his wife Darlene Nitkowski Shephard; a number of in-laws; 3 Godsons; many nieces, nephews and friends that enjoyed his laughter and ability to make each and every one of them feel special. He worked in Buffalo, NY for Western Electric and was transferred to the cable plant in PHX in 1973 where it then became AT&T. After almost 36 yrs. of service he retired at 53 ½ and enjoyed life. Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Thursday July 12, 2018 at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix 85020.
