, trustworthy, kindhearted man and he would do anything for his family and friends. His fun and upbeat spirit was infectious to all those around him, and his laugh was contagious! He effortlessly made friends and most became life-long friendships. The last years of his life were a testament to everyone who knew him! Showing his great Faith, along with his ability to fight and overcome, he met each physical challenge that came his way and was able to maintain his easygoing demeanor to the end. When he could no longer drive, he began to collect scale model cars and amassed quite a collection. Then somehow developed a love for flashlights and air rifles! Pete was a good, kind, gentle man, always upbeat with an enormous sense of humor, infectious laugh, and astounding ability to love. He won the hearts of all those around him. His family and friends will miss him beyond words. We have a treasure box filled with memories. Rest in Peace dear, sweet man - your battle is over. He left behind his loving wife of 55 years, Sharlet Wareing and his precious daughter, Scarlet Wareing. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his older brother, Richard who passed away at the age of 8 years old when Pete was still a baby. Pete will be cremated and a "Celebration of Life" service will be in a few months. We will notify everyone the place and time later in the year.
