Shannon Renee Cedar

March 28, 1976 - Dec. 5, 2018 Shannon, 42, passed away at a local care facility in Phoenix, AZ on December 5, 2018. Shannon was born March 28, 1976 in Kansas City, Missouri to Michael F. and Teresa W. (Durflinger) Cedar. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, graduating from Thunderbird High School in 1994 and earned her Associates Degree in Legal Studies in 2004. She enjoyed painting, hiking, road trips, and going to the beach. Shannon brought joy to everyone who knew her. She was funny, loving, creative, free spirited, loyal and incredibly thoughtful. Her greatest joy in life was her son Dylan who she was always so proud of. She also loved her nieces and nephews and poured her heart into them. Shannon was a gift and our lives are forever changed. There is no way to fill the void. She was amazing. She was beautiful. She was adored. She will never be forgotten. Survivors include her parents Michael and Teresa; her son Dylan; her sister Rebecca, brother-in-law Raymond and their children Cutter, Jett, and Ziva.
