Sara Kay Lemons

Sara Kay Lemons Vaules, 45, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on December 7, 2018. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Sara was born to Mary Ann and John Lemons on October 23, 1973 at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. She grew up in Cupertino, CA and graduated from Monta Vista High School where she enjoyed her classes, friends, and cheerleading. She graduated from Arizona State University where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and majored in Marketing Communication. After some time working in the high-tech industry, she met and married Richard Vaules and spent her married life in Northern California and Phoenix, AZ. Sara was blessed with two wonderful children, Riley, age 14 and Kyra, age 11. She was an active volunteer at their school, Archway Veritas. She attended Redemption Arcadia Church in Phoenix and was involved in the women's ministry where she was blessed with many Christian friends who truly loved and supported her. Sara enjoyed teaching pilates, traveling, modeling, writing, sharing her passion for natural living, and surrounding herself with close friends. Sara will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, big heart, beautiful smile, sense of humor, and deep love for her children, family and friends. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ and received her daily strength from the Lord. She is survived by her parents John and Mary Ann (Schimm) Lemons; her children Riley and Kyra; her sister Julie Rodgers, husband Mike and their three children, Anna, Noah and Luke; her half-sister Sheri Rodriquez, husband Nick and their son, Nicholas; her half-brother Steve Lemons, wife Nan and their two children Zachary and Sophie; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
