October 23, 1941 - March 26, 2019 Maria "Cecilia" Giles, 77, of Phoenix, passed away in Phoenix on March 26, 2019. Cecilia was born Oct. 23, 1941 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Marcos and Eurcenia CdeBaca. She grew up in Hawthorne, California. Being the only girl with 4 brothers everyone called her 'Sister'. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always working on some type of craft project. She was an excellent seamstress and very much enjoyed crocheting. If she wasn't working on craft projects you could find her working a crossword puzzle (in pen), word search or doing her favorite past time reading a good book. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ 85020. Inurnment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
