Maureen O'Neill born in 1951 of Charles and Margaret O'Neill in Bethesda, Maryland, lived a loving and selfless life before passing away September 24, 2019.
She graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. and later moved out west where she raised her four children as a single mom in Scottsdale, Arizona. Maureen worked for decades as a high school math teacher enriching the lives of countless students over the years. She was a lifelong Redskins fan and instilled her sense of loyalty in her children and grandchildren. She volunteered at multiple churches and at times worked three jobs to support her family.
She is survived by her two older brothers Charles Jr. and William; her four children Peg Barney (Perl), Timothy Barney, Maureen Barney, and Kathleen Barney (Neri); and her five grandchildren Emma, Chloe, Nathan, Gabriel, and Annabella.
