ng fingerprint and photography services to Childcare Centers, he met his current wife, Kimberly Steele. They were married June 6, 1998 in a ceremony at River of Life where family and friends joined in the celebration of their union. Over the past 21+ years, they blended their families and were blessed with 16 grandchildren. Naaman was hands on with each of these grandchildren. Naaman loved family gatherings and he loved Thanksgiving and Christmas. He believed in the importance of celebrating these holidays surrounded by family. He didn't believe that children should wake up on Christmas without a room full of toys. It was his most joyous time and he prided himself in making sure there were plenty of gifts for all the grands. He also enjoyed his Friday lunches at Boston's where he would bet on the horses and enjoy his salad and friends. Naaman, along with his patient and trusted friend and associate Heather Shippy, touched the lives of many preschool and grade-school children and their families through his photography. Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas, proms, sports programs, whatever the occasion, Naaman was there taking pictures for families to enjoy and share. Naaman was known as the "bionic man". He received a kidney transplant in 1994 which began multiple years of health issues. He did not let any of his illnesses keep him from enjoying life and doing what he loved doing. He was a fighter and fought to the end. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kimberly, his children, Naaman (Maureen) and Shannon (David), his stepchildren, Ryan (Kate), Erin (Shawn), and Dylan (Sarah), 16 grandchildren, Calen, Ireland, Nicholas, Ryder, Dallas, Kendall, Destiny, Camilla, Owen, Aidan, Cruz, David, Elijah, Ireland, Ivy Grace, and Remy; 4 sisters, Geri Taylor (Dennis), Cheryl Garrison (Jerome), Kathy Gibson (Mitchell), Madge; 8 nieces and nephews, Erin Haynes, Tamara Thomas (Benjamin, Jr.), Brandi, Victoria, Anthony II, Michael, Jerome Jr., and Tiffany; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Naaman and Ada Haynes, his brother, Anthony, Sr., and his stepson Adam. A celebration of Naaman's Life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14th at River of Life Tabernacle, 4302 E Broadway Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85040.
