Waltraud Anne (Lange) Thomas, known as Wally to all her friends and family passed away on March 9, 2020. Born August 28, 1936 in a small town Eberswalde, outside of Berlin Germany. She lived an exciting and full life.
Wally lived in Germany, Glenside, Warrington and Huntingdon Valley Pennsylvania. The older daughter of Werner and Karchen Lange, she is survived by her sister, Barbel Lübeck-Aul, 2 nieces Suzanne Homburg and Tina Seipel, nephew Uwe Aul, her son Gerd Thomas, grandson Craig Thomas and wife Brittany Thomas as well as her precious great grand daughter Penny Lane Thomas.
Wally worked for many years as a travel agent, lastly with Wentz Travel Co. She traveled the world in her lifetime, from riding elephants in Thailand, snorkeling in the Caribbean, to exploring Russia and China, she did it all! Wally loved walking and meeting new people. She always had a kind word and a smile on her face.
Alzheimer disease took her too soon and she will be sadly missed.
Family and friends are invited to her Visitation 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, April 11th, at the William R. May Funeral Home, 354 N. Easton rd. (at Keswick Ave.), Glenside, PA 19038. The Service will begin at 11 AM.
