Janet L. Reid

Janet L. Reid, age 72, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, after courageously battling cancer for several months. She was born on January 13, 1948 in Muskegon, MI to Liberty and Gloria (McPherson) Reid. She has been a life-long resident of Muskegon. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a longtime member at Unity Church of Muskegon. She graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor's degree in business. Janet worked for 20 plus years at her family's business, Reid Tool Supply Company as a Department Manager. She followed in her mother's and sister's footsteps and was a former member of the Zonta group. She loved all types of animals but had a real passion for horses. She raised a quarter horse named The Lark Ascending that won the Superhorse Competition in Oklahoma City.
