Charles Everett Blair Sr., age 80 of Watauga, born September 6, 1939 in Bakersfield, California passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 12th 2020 in Keller, Texas. Charles was born to Forrest and Velma Blair. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Charles later served his community as a police officer for 42 years in two police departments, Muskogee, Oklahoma and Nashville, Tennessee. He was named Officer of the Year while serving the Muskogee Police Department. Our Dad was an avid gardener and loved working in his yard. He is survived by his daughter, Kym Toy and husband, Chuck of Keller, Texas; sons, Charles E. Blair Jr. of Fort Worth, and Robert F. Blair of Madison, Wisconsin; brothers, Thomas Blair and wife, Delma of Richardson, Texas, and Randy Blair, and wife Joanne of California; grandsons, Tanner M Hennegan of Arlington, Texas and Cody E. Blair and wife Sarah of Killeen, Texas; great granddaughters, Daisy and Penny Blair. Charles is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cathy Blair, and granddaughter, Nikki Hennegan. Chapel from 10a.m. to 11a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11a.m., celebrated by Pastor, Dennis George. A Committal Service and Military Honors will be rendered at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, where Charles will be laid to rest with his wife Cathy, on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 1:30p.m.
