BRUCE DAVID EDDY

Bruce David Eddy, 77, of Marquette, passed into eternal life under the exceptional care of Lake Superior Hospice while surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 13, 1938 in Detroit, a son of the late Leroy and Ruth (Larabell) Eddy. On February 17, 1962 he married Kathleen Carrigan in Hazel Park, Michigan. Bruce worked a variety of jobs overcoming several obstacles in his life to support his family, which he did proudly. He was a devout Christian whose hobbies were photography, bird watching, treasure hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed deer hunting and target practice. More than anything he loved reading, studying and teaching the Word of God. Bruce served in the Michigan National Guard and was a true patriot. His smile, quick wit and presence will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the Canale-Tonella Funeral Home with Rev. John Hendry officiating.
