DOLORES EVELYN ZINSKI

Dolores Evelyn Zinski, 86, of Marquette, passed away peacefully at her residence Wednesday morning, June 14, 2017 in the comfort of her loving family and under the care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice. Dolores was born on December 7, 1930 in Hancock, MI, a daughter of the late William and Aino (Ollila) Johnson and step-daughter of the late Sally Johnson. She was a lifelong U.P. resident. In her free time, Dolores enjoyed working crossword puzzles, bird watching, playing cribbage, crocheting, crafts, and breakfast club at Oakwood Village. She also loved going to camp, deer hunting and listening to the Elmer Aho country music program on the radio. Dolores leaves several special friends including Martha Tuimala, Ron Boyd and her neighbors at Oakwood Village Apartments. Preceding her in death besides her parents was her beloved husband, Jack Zinski in 2005; a brother, David Johnson; sister, Deanna Matthews and special friend Margie Delarye. Memorials are preferred to U.P. Home Health and Hospice in Mrs. Zinski’s memory, 1125 W. Ridge St., Marquette, MI 49855.
