Courtney Suzanne McIntire, 38, of Altoona Iowa, passed away on March 28th, 2020 after battling an illness for some time.
A private visitation for immediate family will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens funeral home in Urbandale Iowa. A celebration of life will be held for Courtney's extended family and friends at a later date.
Courtney was born in Des Moines Iowa on December 1st 1981. After graduating high school she went on to obtain a BS degree in Finance from Drake University. She spent her career as a Business Analyst contracting for a variety of companies over the years.
Courtney was a beautiful soul with a soft heart. She was an amazing, caring, loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family and friends with everything she had. There was nothing she wouldn't do for those she loved. She was strong willed and always so full of life.
Her passion was for music and dance. She had a love for animals and would have given anything to have a big farm where she could take them all in, especially the baby piggies.

sure everything was in order down to the smallest details. Her smile and personality could light up any room and she left a mark on everyone she came in contact with.
She will be remembered by so many and her spirit will carry on through all those she has touched in her life time.
Courtney is survived by her mother Suzanne Crandall, brothers Gary (Shannon) McIntire and Greg (Cristy) McIntire, sister Meghan (Chris) Settje, nephew Ian McIntire, niece Mia McIntire, nephew Devin Settje, and other family and friends.
Courtney is preceded in death by her father Ron McIntire, Uncle Rick Pitkin, grandparents Courtney (Gladys) Crandall and Jack McIntire.
Courtney always said if she won the lottery she would donate to Blank Children's Hospital. Therefore, we are asking any memorial donations be given to Blanks Children's Hospital, STAR and Development Center, 1200 Pleasant Dr., Des Moines, IA 50309, Attn: Alissa McKinney.
