Margaret Aleen Busse

Aleen Busse, 79, of Carson, IA passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. Private family graveside services will be at the Carson Cemetery in Carson, IA with Rev. Michael Slininger officiating. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson has been entrusted with the care for Aleen and her family. After Federal and State restrictions have been lifted due to COVID-19, the family will hold a celebration of Aleen's life. Memorials: Directed to the family to go towards Aleen's favorite charities. Margaret Aleen Watkins one of three children of Roy and Onetia (Thompson) Watkins was born on February 16, 1941 in Tahlequah, OK. She received her education from Tahlequah schools. On August 30, 1957 she married Robert Dean Busse in Tahlequah. The couple made their home east of Macedonia, IA just off the Pioneer Trail. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Timothy Bernard and Debby Lou. Aleen worked for the Carson Macedonia school district as the director of food service. uilts for the residents at the area nursing homes with her UMW group. She enjoyed volunteering at the women's shelter and the homeless shelter, she enjoyed volunteering at the Dreamland Theatre. Aleen loved to play cards with all her friends in the Carson-Macedonia area. She had a heart of gold and was always there to help someone. Most of all she loved her family. Aleen is preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob; daughter-in-law, Linda Busse; granddaughter Kelly Hull; sister Laverne Sullivan and brother O' Dean Watkins. Aleen is survived by her son Tim Busse of Omaha, NE; daughter Debby Hull of Concord, CA; grandchildren T.J. Busse of Omaha, NE and Jennifer Crews and her husband Kevin; great grandchildren Bradley, Brandon and Joseph; other relatives and a host of many special friends.
