Alma Caya

Alma was born in Jackson County, Minnesota on February 23, 1919 to Otto and Anna Hanson. She graduated from Windom High School in 1937 and married the same year. They had four children, Valerie (Herbert) Muetzel, Clifford Jr. (Sonny) Caya, Stephen Caya and Charles Caya. She was employed at Johnson Fishing for 33 years. She loved to travel and saw much of the world. She built doll houses and furnished them. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family. Alma passed away on May 15, 2010 at the age of 91. She has four grandchildren, Geri Jensen and Wendy Muetzel both of Waseca, Mike Caya and his wife, Cherith and Jackie Caya both of Mankato; five great-grandchildren, Caya Dahl, Matthew Brownstein, Adam Kahnke, Lesley Caya & Lillian Caya; and many nieces and nephews.
