Roxli Sloan Doss, 12, of Kyle, Texas, passed away at home on April 9, 2020. Roxli was born on August 29, 2007, in Austin, Texas, to Scott and Gena Doss. She was a lifelong resident of Kyle. Roxli attended Negley Elementary and Barton Middle School. She was an avid learner, a congenial student, and well-liked by both teachers and students. She was often the fastest girl at Negley on track and field days. She enjoyed horseback riding, running, crafting, hunting, swimming, reading, spa days, the racetrack, and sunny days at the beach. Roxli loved playing with her siblings and friends. Roxli's infectious smile, positive attitude, incredible sense of humor, and kind, gentle spirit impacted and will be a cherished memory for all. Roxli faced DIPG with fearless resilience and an abundant faith in Christ that never wavered. She was an inspiration to her family and to all those around her. Roxli is survived by her parents, Scott and Gena Doss, brother, Rhett, and sister, Reef, all of Kyle; grandparents James and Denice Doss of Rockdale, Gene Layne of Henderson, and Sandy and Ronnie Strong of Henderson; great-grandmother Mary Hertless of Granger and a host of family and friends. ...[more]

is preceded in death by her great grandparents Jimmy and Jeffy Doss of Rockdale, Richard Hertless of Granger, Aubrey and Faye Layne of Henderson, and Clyde and Helen Still of Jefferson. A celebration of life will be held at a time to be determined with Pastor Shawn Cooper of Vertical Chapel.
