Rosemary Young

Rosemary Jeanne Young, age 75, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. in Good Samaritan Home. Rosemary was born on May 28, 1944, in Amesbury, MA, a daughter of Alonzo G. and Roberta B. Farris St. Hilaire. On November 11, 1962 she married Richard George Young. When Rosemary's family was young, she worked as a teacher's aide at her children's school, Salisbury Memorial Elementary. In 1978, she and her family moved to Phoenix, AZ. While in Arizona, Rosemary worked for a number of banks, including Arizona Bank, American National Bank, and Bank of America. Rosemary loved animals, and after she retired from the banking industry, she was able spend her time pet sitting for family and friends. In 2015, Rosemary moved to Quincy in order to be closer to her grandchildren. Rosemary's family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Home and Blessing Hospice for all of the loving and compassionate care that they showed to her.
