Duane Edward Sheets II , 58 passed away Friday April 17, 2020 at Mercy Medical after battling many medical conditions. A celebration of life will be held later this year.

Duane was born Sept 21, 1961 in Des Moines to Duane Sheets I and Arlene Sheets Frantz. He graduated from Indianola Sr. High and went to work driving a truck for Anderson Erickson Dairy and later Capital City Fruit. He retired several years ago for medical conditions.

Duane enjoyed camping, gardening, riding motorcycles and socializing at the Moose Lodge 2589 for many years. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Duane is survived by his wife Mary Sheets and children, Britney McMulin ( Austin ), Alyssa Sheets, Aaron Sheets and step children Ashley Goodpaster (Matt) and Adam Goodpaster, Arlene Frantz (mother) Dianne Noland (sister) and Bruce Sheets (brother) and 5 grandchildren.
