Rosemary A. Owens, age 73 of Colfax, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Mercy One - Newton. Private family graveside services will be held at McKeever Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Rosemary A Owens Memorial Fund and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The daughter of Paul A. and Hazel Foster, Rosemary was born on September 12, 1946 in Grinnell, Iowa. On April 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Robert Owens in Colfax. Rosemary worked at Pat & Mel's Restaurant for 15 years. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Colfax. Those left to honor her memory include her son, Eric (Natalie) Owens; a step son, Charlie (Daphne Emmack) Owens; a step daughter, Tonya (Jim) Perkins; eight grandchildren, Dane, Will, Hannah, Halie, Blake, Jasper, Melinda and RaNee; five great grandchildren, Conner, Christopher, Chloe, Kinser and Gracelyn; a sister, Linda Watts and a brother, David (Judy) Foster.
