Shirley Marie Beeks

Shirley Marie Beeks, 94, of Adkins, TX, formerly of Bettendorf, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020. A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Shirley's name to St. James Lutheran Church, Bettendorf. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Shirley was born November 11, 1925, in Davenport, IA, to Curtis and Ella (Rissmen) Kile. She married Robert O. Beeks, Sr. on April 20, 1945. They went on to enjoy fifty years of marriage until his passing in 1995. She was a devoted wife and mother and spent her life caring for others.

Shirley enjoyed playing bingo and her weekly game of Skip-Bo on Sundays.
