Carol E Cassel

Carol was born March 21st, 1931 in Sebewa Township, Ionia County. She was the youngest daughter of William Victor Honner and Ella (Peacock) Wilson. She graduated from Portland High school class of 1948. She married Clare H. Cassel on August 8th, 1948. They were the parents of nine children, 4 of whom died shortly after birth. They divorced in 1964 and Carol moved to Muskegon where she raised her remaining 5 children by herself. She passed away on April 10th, 2020 at Sanctuary in the Park, Muskegon MI. Carol was 89 years old. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, in-laws and 5 of her children. Siblings: Rose Eileen Ainsworth and (Winfield), Dorcas Louise Wilson, Keith Victor and (Wilma (Usborne) Wilson), Joyce Edna Luscher and (Walter), Royal Arthur and (Mary Anne (McCusker) Wilson). Children: John William, Constance Marie, Sue Ann, Tamara Lynn, and Cheryl Ann. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
