Kenneth Lumpkin

Kenneth Lewis Lumpkin, age 71, of Chamblee, GA, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Northwoods/Evergreen Assisted Living Center in Dahlonega, GA, where he had resided since 2005. Kenneth was born October 12, 1946 in Clarkesville, Ga He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Lee (Lumpkin) Martin; parents, Grady and Rosetta Lumpkin; brother, Charles Lumpkin. He is survived by his son, Keith Lumpkin of Winder, GA; granddaughter, Krista Martin of Stone Mountain, GA; and great-grandson, Jaiden McEarchern of Stone Mountain, GA; sister, Mary A. Harrison of Ringgold, GA; brother, Richard Lumpkin (spouse Toni) of Canton, GA; one aunt, Louise Hungerpiller of Stockbridge, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Kenneth graduated from Chamblee High School, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1832 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements. [more]
