Alex Whitehead

Alex Whitehead, 22, of Cumming went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, March 18, 2019. Alex was a bright, sensitive, loving, and creative young man who struggled with depression and addiction. Mental health and addiction are struggles that no one should have to fight. Today and every day in the future, Alex will no longer have to fight; he is finally at peace. Survivors include his parents, Andy and Lisa Whitehead; a brother, Drew Whitehead; his sister, Laney Whitehead; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Joan Whitehead; maternal grandparents, Dr. T. Larry and Barbara Gilbert; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Scott Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens, https://sawneeview.com.
