Marion Smith Stone

Marion Smith Stone, age 72, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Forsyth County High School class of 1965 and retired from a 35-year career with the US Postal Service in Cumming. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Voncile Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Grace Stone; sister, Anita Ruth Smith; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Stone, Alton Richards, Morris McGinnis, Kenneth Samples. She is survived by her husband, Michael Stone; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Chris Fontenot; granddaughter, Hannah Fontenot; sister, Bonnie Tate; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobbie Richards, Glendal and Ellen Stone, Carolyn McGinnis, Phyllis Samples; and a large number of nieces, nephews and very special friends. Funeral services will be Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel, Cumming, GA 30040. Entombment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens.
