great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Mary was quite active in the Girl Scouts, achieving the highest award, the Golden Eaglet Award. In March of 2012 she attended the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of America tea which was held at the Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda and was recognized as one of the few senior Girl Scouts in attendance. Travel continued to be an important part of her life throughout retirement with Hawaii and the tropics as favorite destinations. An avid swimmer having grown up on Irondequoit Bay, she loved lake, pool and ocean swimming.The Rosary will be led at 7pm on Wednesday evening, June 27, 2012 at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am the following morning, Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 900 West La Habra Blvd., La Habra, CA.
