Mr. Dorian James Benson

Dorian James Benson was born April 2, 1983 in Whittier, California, to Timothy and Susan (Crawford) Benson. He passed away on October 20, 2012 at the age of 29. Dorian proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps from October 7, 2002 to October 6, 2006. He earned the rank of Cpl E-4. He also served in Iraq for one year. Dorian achieved many decorations and medals for his outstanding military service including, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (Iraq), Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Certificate of Commendation, Rifle Qualification Badge (Sharpshooter). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11am at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E Philadelphia Street, Whittier, California, 90601, 562.698.0304. Interment will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:15 am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd,, Riverside, California, 92518, 909.653-8417.
