asnt anti-social! His place was simply the place to be. He had an open-door policy and loved to invite folks in to visit. He was a great listener, imparting his wisdom only when asked to do so. Fred will be remembered as a mello man who was very wise and caring. People mattered to him, and he always made folks feel it. He deeply loved his family and friends, and he was deeply loved. Surviving Fred are his sons, Fred (Wendy) and Michael (Melissa) Luhm; sisters, Mary Bolton, Barbara Luhm, Polly Bartels; brother, Mike Luhm; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Camryn, Madylyn, Myles, Molly, and Meyson. Viewing will take place from 12 12:45pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at St. Bruno Church, 15740 Citrustree Road, Whittier, with Mass immediately following at 1pm. A graveside service will be held at 1pm the next day, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 Potrero Grande Rd., Rosemead, California.
