Millie Oliva

Domenica (Millie) Oliva, 91, of Flowery Branch GA, died January 4, 2013 at Embracing Hospice in Cummins, Ga. She died peacefully with loving family at her side .

She was born to the late Paul and Maria LaPietra, on April 6, 1921, in Brooklyn, NY. She married the late Ralph Oliva (predeceased 1989) in 1945, and they lived together in Jackson, NJ. Millie then moved to Somerset, NJ in 2003 before relocating to Flowery Branch, GA in 2006.
Millie is survived by four daughters: Andrea and John Osowski of Somerset, NJ; Maria and Ronald Wolfenden of Dunellen, NJ; Linda Oliva of NJ; and Susan and James Walyga of Flowery Branch, GA. She also is survived by six grandchildren: Martin Osowski, Bonnie Gerlach, James B. Cavaliere, Jennifer Chen, Lisa Marie Millard (Cavaliere), and James Walyga Jr., and thirteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by her loving sister Theresa Oliva of SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Alzheimers Association and/or Breast Cancer Awareness
