Connie J. Buckman

FOREST CITY - Connie J. Buckman, 58, of Forest City, surrounded by her family, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, following a long battle with cancer, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City with Pastor Rod Hopp officiating. Burial will be in Madison Township Cemetery in rural Forest City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Petersen Lund Funeral Home in Forest City and an hour prior to service at the church. Connie Jean Buckman was born in Mason City on August 1, 1951, the daughter of Lloyd and Virginia (Briggs) Dralla. She graduated from Northwood-Kensett School. Connie was united in marriage to Danny Buckman on December 13, 1975 at Northwood. To this union two children were born. Connie worked at Winnebago Industries for 35 years and retired due to health reasons on November 13, 2009.
