North Augusta, SC--Graveside Services for Mrs. Jewel D. Boyles, 92, who entered into rest May 24, 2020, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bath, SC, with Rev, Frank E. Barker officiating. Mrs. Boyles was a native of Birmingham, AL, having made North Augusta her home for 32 years, prior to moving to Lexington, South Carolina two years ago. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Bethany-Dorcas Sunday School Class, Joyful Sounds and was the former Director of the Homebound Ministry. Mrs. Boyles was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Tompkins; husband, James Lamar Tompkins who died in 1987 and Claudie Cecil Boyles, her second husband, who died in 2012. Survivors include two daughters, Marla Clower, Albany, GA and Cheryl (Charles) Trotter, Aiken, SC; one son, Barry (Pam) Tompkins, Irmo, SC; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
