Nancy Ann Hopkins

Nancy Ann Hopkins, age 70 of Colfax, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 in Newton. A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax. Burial will take place at the Colfax Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. and the public is welcome to attend. The family will also greet friends following the burial at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax for a time of food and fellowship. The daughter of William A. and Mary Jean (Guizzetti) Hopkins, Nancy was born on September 26, 1949 in Newton. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1967. Nancy worked at American Republic for 10 years and then the US Post Office for 34 years. Following her retirement for the post office she worked part time at Kum & Go in Colfax. Nancy was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In June of 1995, she met her life partner, James Fields and have been together since.
