James "Jim" Faulkner

James "Jim" Faulkner, 92, of West Des Moines, Iowa passed away on May 24, 2020.
Services are pending.
Jim had many interests; Six Player Girls Basketball which became a hobby for him, traveling to all 50 states and he was fortunate enough to visit six continents. Jim and Faith also enjoyed several cruises together. Jim's other interests included politics (a fiscal conservative and social moderate); music (all genres); movies (particularly from Hollywood's Golden Age); reading books, magazines and newspapers. Jim had a lifelong abiding affection for Valley High School and the City of West Des Moines. Jim was a 1944 graduate of Valley High School and served his country Honorably in the United States Army.
Left to cherish Jim's memory are is son, Stephen Faulkner, and daughter Diane Butrum, five grandsons; Patrick Taylor, Sean Faulkner, Dalton Butrum, David Fulkner and Dakota Butrum and a great-grandaughter, Izabella Butrum.
In death, Jim rejoins his wife, Faith, daughter, Ramona, his parents, Alex and Louise Faulkner, and sister Shirley Donald.
