John R. Rigg

John R. "Gpa" Rigg, age 77, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He was born on September 3, 1942 to Richard and Audrey (Fox) Rigg in Petoskey , MI. John worked as a DNR officer for the State of Michigan for 25 years. He thoroughly enjoyed entertaining his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and trips to the casino. John was a member of the FOP Charles D. Hammond Lodge #99. On December 27, 1984, he married Victoria Hewartson and she survives him along with 2 sons, Steve (Bethany) Rigg and Dennis Overeiner; 3 grandchildren, Walquer, Victor and Alicia; mother, Audrey; brothers, Tom (Marty) Rigg and Jim (Donna) Rigg; in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
