JoLynn Wright, age 60, beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed into eternal rest surrounded by family on Sunday, May 31st in Rapid City, South Dakota. JoLynn was born March 12, 1960 in Omaha, Nebraska to George and Virginia (Willert) Wildrick. She graduated from Burke High in 1978 and following graduation, worked for Mutual of Omaha. It was through a friendship with her future sister-in-law, that she met and married her husband, Ned Kennaley Wright, on May 2, 1981. She worked for the library at UNO before having children, at which point she became a stay-at-home mom. When her children entered school, she worked at the Danbury Catholic School where she is remembered for her joyous smile. She also assumed the librarian post previously held by her mother-in-law at the Danbury Cord Memorial Library. JoLynn loved animals, and passed her love of animals on to her grandchildren. She found much joy in her horses, dogs, cats, ducks, and rabbits, and in watching her grandchildren enjoy them as well. She was preceded in death by parents, George and Virginia (Willert) Wildrick. JoLynn is survived by her husband, Ned Wright, children Brianna (Corey Iltzsch) Wright and Ethan (Marnie) Wright, and two grandchildren, Braydyn and Kingston Wright. Her siblings: Rick Wildrick, Kim (Brenda Carlsen) Wildrick, Mark (Cecilia) Wildrick , Marcia (Glen) Gullekson, Sue (Ken) Cobleigh, and Chris Wildrick. Several nieces and nephews, including her special niece, Bella Wildrick. Open Viewing 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Private entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
