for being "The Mac Daddy" and for his profound wisdom. He gave it his all to be the absolute best at everything he did.

As a passionate and avid outdoorsman who was dedicated to hunting and fishing all over North America, he passed his knowledge on to his family and friends, while always learning the secret fishing hot spots from local bait shops. Whether it be a record book whitetail, a majestic trophy bull elk, or a "slabbo" crappie/walleye, he rejoiced in the victories and appreciated the challenges. He certainly paid his dues back to the Earth in many ways such as freezing in a deer stand and the like - Yet, he would find great peace and humor in falling asleep against a tree as turkeys walk by.

He experienced the fullness of life through his love for his daughters and his wife, great music, the Vikings, camping trips, dancing around the living room, home projects, reflecting on virtues and proverbs, a good thunderstorm, the mystery of fires, sunrises and sunsets, travelling and good old fashion road trips.

He thrived on life; "No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they had plenty of sleep."

Bill Wold was extremely unique, for all that he was, and all that he stood for; his legacy will forever live and love on.

A private family service will be held June 26th, 2020 to celebrate Bill's amazing and passionate life.

Condolences may be mailed to Jean Becker-Wold at PO Box 7705, Urbandale, IA  50323.
