Dale R. Watters, 96, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home.  He was born May 25, 1924 in Black Hawk County the son of Rollie and Agnes Folkner Watters.  He attended Hudson High School.  He married Agnes Rose on April 5, 1947 in Kirksville, MO; she preceded him in death in December of 1984. He married Donna Ann Rose (Rubino) on December 28, 1986 in Waterloo; she preceded him in death on May 4, 2013. He worked for Rath Packing Company for 36 years, retiring in 1985.  He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Dale was a former member of Grace Methodist Church in Waterloo.  He played basketball at Hudson High School and was on the 1955 Rath State Softball Team. Survived by: six stepsons, Jack Tharp of Beloit, WI, Jerry Tharp of Grinnell, Frank (Elaine) Rubino of Waterloo, Rick Rubino of Richardson, TX, Garry (Marilyn) Rubino of Mead, OK, Dino (Dawn) Rubino of Waterloo; one step daughters, LuAnn (Mike) Diers of Kyle, TX; many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews.
