Robert "Dan" Bellamy

Dan left us peacefully and surrounded by love on June 5th, 2020. Dan was born on December 12, 1946 to Skeets and Bobbie Bellamy in Nashville, Tennessee. The family of 3 moved to California before moving to Rogue River, Oregon with brothers David and Michael. Dan attended high school in Rogue River and met his high school sweetheart and love of 55 years, Robin. Dan attended Southern Oregon College before marrying Robin and moving to California to begin his apprenticeship as a refractory bricklayer. Dan and Robin started their family in 1966 welcoming their son Bob and daughter Danielle 3 years later. Dan excelled in the refractory industry for many years before starting his own successful company RECON in 1990. Dan was a fair and generous man beyond measure in life and in business. He was loved, adored, admired and made a lasting impression on so many throughout his life. He was a loving husband for 55 years, a loving and dedicated father and brother, a loving and doting grandfather and a true friend to many. e man that lead with his heart and a great mentor to many throughout the years. He was a true renaissance man with a giving heart. Dan is survived by his wife, children, granddaughter, brothers and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
