James Alick Luttmer

James A. Luttmer, 41, known to friends as JJ, of Niles, MI, passed away October 7th 2017, in San Diego, CA due to complications from his bone marrow transplant. He was born July 28th 1976 in San Diego and attended Grossmont High School. JJ loved to cook and was a Sous Chef at Viejas Casino before his struggle with cancer. JJ was a kind man and accepted people for who they were. He loved fishing, hanging out with his friends, gardening, animals, and spending time with his dog Buddy. JJ is survived by his parents, James Luttmer of El Cajon, CA and Irene Luttmer and her significant other, John Dawson, of Niles, MI. He is also survived by 2 sisters Salli LaBrado of Sumner, WA and Cathy Ledbetter of El Cajon, CA, many nieces, nephews, and close friends. He will be greatly missed by all. [more]
