It was a Beautiful, Sunny, San Diego Day on Friday September 24th, 1993. Family and friends gathered together at Mercy hospital to await her arrival! (It was standing room only).... There was Joy and Laughter that filled the room along with Anxious Anticipation.... friendly wagers were placed as to what time she would arrive... then, finally at 12:23pm Naji Cymone MaGee was born to Rachelle Brown and Keith MaGee.... the style in which she arrived would be a precursor to her life! Naji was a loving, thoughtful and caring child. She loved people and people loved her... she never met a stranger and would talk to everyone. Naji always had a healthy sense of curiosity, that would lead to question after question. At the young age of five years old her curiosity peaked about Salvation and Jesus! She had learned and heard enough about The Plan of Salvation in Church School that she decided to Accept Christ into her heart and was Baptized March 21,1999. ite short stories and read realistic fiction. She participated in track and field for Flo-Jo International. And Cheered for Valencia Park Pop Warner. She enjoyed developing friendships, competing in track meets and she especially loved cheer competitions. But truly friendships were always the highlight. In 2007 Naji attended THE coveted Lincoln High School... Omg... she had to get there by any means! Naji graduated from Lincoln High School in 2011. After graduating high school Naji enrolled and attended San Diego City College to pursue an education in Cosmetology. She loved cosmetology school and was excited to one day be licensed, but due to lifes circumstances that plan was delayed. Naji went on to hold various jobs... too many to list.(lol) Then God blessed her with a job at a company that would work with her to go back to school and complete what she had started! She was in the best place ever... she loved her Job(NeoGenesis), her apartment, her friends, her family, her independence, and assisting her Gummy at the shop! She was only Thirteen weeks from completing her Cosmetology Course....One month away from her Year anniversary at NeoGenesis.... and looking forward to so many blessings and opportunities. She would often say .... Im happy with my life, but Im not content... I have goals! Naji experienced many bumps and bruises in her life, many joys and pains .... many friends gained, and many lost.... but she was FEARLESS, STRONG and She ALWAYS managed to get up dust herself off and keep it moving. She was LIFE, She was LOVE, She was LOYAL, She was FORGIVING, She was a FRIEND you could depend on, She was a REAL ONE! Whether you were eight months or eighty years or any age in between Naji could relate to you and make you feel loved and special... she had her own special God given gift, and she used it to touch so many people. She brought so much laughter and excitement to the lives of those that were blessed to encounter her. This life wont ever be the same without her.... but thank The Lord thats not how the story ends....because those of us who are in Christ Jesus look forward to our Heavenly reunion!
