th in God and sought solace in Philippians 4:13: I can do all thing through Christ who gives me strength. Ahmad expressed his joy through sports and athletics. He spent countless hours riding bicycles and skateboards with neighborhood friends. His memories of learning to swim were some of his fondest, along with his frequent ski trips with his mother. Ahmad honed his athleticism playing basketball at 31st Street Seventh Day Adventist Church and Jackie Robinson YMCA, running track for the MLK Blasters Youth Track Club, and playing Pop Warner football for the Skyline Tigers. Ahmad loved and maintained his familys commitment to the Southeast San Diego community. He began his high school career at his mothers alma mater, Samuel F.B. Morse High School, where he continued to enhance his tremendously gifted and natural athletic abilities in football and track. In 2009, Ahmad completed his high school education at San Diego Charter before starting his college career at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California. Ahmads educational and career path led him to the Black Contractors of America (BCA) in 2011 where he developed his skills in construction and dry walling. It was at the BCA where Ahmad found mentors in Mr. and Mrs. Hameed. However, Ahmads passion for football took him to San Diego Mesa College for an opportunity to compete at the collegiate level in the sport that he loved. In 2016, God blessed Ahmad with a beautiful baby girl named Ahmaya. She instantly wrapped him around her tiny finger bringing elation and greater peace into Ahmads life - whether she was sleeping on his chest (one of her favorite places to nap) or enjoying the many games and lessons the two of them shared. If Ahmaya wanted bubbles, Ahmad blew bubbles. If she wanted to ride around in her Mini Mouse car, or on her bike, or play catch, Ahmad made it happen. With her magic wand, and the world at her fingertips, Ahmaya would change her daddy into a dog, a frog, or Superman. Ahmad would never disappoint in filling her imagination by barking or hopping around the living room until his little magician would change him back, abracadabracaboo, to the daddy she so loved and adored. Ahmad shared his inquisitiveness, and his love of reading, with Ahmaya. He, also, shared his love for his city with her. The two of them would tour the sights and sounds of San Diego with Gramah Leah in tow. Surely, this was reminiscent of the many travels he made throughout the country with his mother, and his dear grandparents, Charles and Edna Robinson. Ahmad was ready to see the world with Ahmaya, whispering plans of travel to South Africa and beyond. Ahmad demonstrated a high sense of good moral character by aspiring to give to his community and maintaining the deeply rooted spiritual, academic, and athletic commitments and works of his mother, grandparents, and cousins within Southeast San Diego.Ahmad worked with Pastors on Point beautifying neighborhoods by cleaning yards and removing debris. His next plan was to volunteer his time coaching youth football and track by returning to his Skyline Tigers and MLK Blasters roots. On Tuesday, March 31, 2020, God called Ahmad Robinson home. His memory will forever be treasured.
