Michael Steven Everhard

Michael S. Everhard, 65, of Fonda, died Thursday, June 18, 2020, at UnityPoint Trinity Regional Medical Center. A service honoring Michael's life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 26, at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Military honors will be presented by V.F.W. Post No. 1856. Visitation is 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family. Michael is survived by his children, Michael A. (Jamie) Everhard, Des Moines; Amy (Jonathan) Gardner, Newton; Steven Everhard, Fonda; 18 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a sister Janet (Bruce) Hamilton, Sioux Falls, S.D. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George. Michael Steven Everhard, the son of Raymond and Shelda (Day) Everhard, was born March 31, 1955, in Fort Dodge.
