name or coming up with new additional names i.e.: "Sue, Pete, Lenore." Her children knew to answer whatever name was used. She was always home to welcome her children back whether as children or as adults. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was an active member of St. Michael Catholic Church including their altar society where she served on the funeral luncheon committee for many years. A dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ronald Adams; five children, Carrie (Jeff) Magowan, Brad (Becky) Adams, Mary (Karl) Hill, Amy Rantanen, and Tracy (Jim) Klumb all of Marquette; five grandchildren, Taylor Adams, Trevor Adams, Jamie Rantanen, Jack Rantanen, and Jordyn Klumb; four great grandchildren, Avelyn Adams, Nova Glenn, Camille Adams, and Zyan Adams. Preceding her in death besides her parents was a daughter, Lynn Marie Adams and a sister, Carol Negro. Barb's family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 1st at St. Michael Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial in the church at 12 noon with the Rev. Gregory Heikkala officiating. Entombment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. A special thank you goes out to U.P. Home Health and Hospice and the staff at Brookridge Heights.
