John Allen Plum

John Allen Plum, age 78, of Elkins, went home to be with Jesus in the early hours of Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown. He was born February 9, 1941 in Hamilton, WV, a son of the late Elmer and Nellie (Nestor) Plum John is survived by his wife, Patty Jean (Roy) Plum; two children, Carla Denise Plum and her husband Steve Becker of Lancaster, SC and Kenny Plum and his wife Lori of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Cassandra Elliott and her husband Nick of Rochester, NY, Eric Becker and his wife Charlotte of St. Joseph, MI and Max Plum of Morgantown; two great-grandchildren, Madelynn and Bailey Elliott of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Elmer Plum of St. George, WV and Jack Plum and his wife Carolyn of Hamilton, WV; and his daughter-in-law, Lisa Plum of Valley Bend. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, John Allen Plum, Jr. John was a very active member and greeter at Rivers of Living Water Ministries in Elkins. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed reading and working Sudoku puzzles. John was a devoted husband and father who adored his grandchildren.
