Barbara L. Myers Carmel: Barbara Lynne (George) Myers, 82, peacefully passed at Methodist Hospital on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020. Barbara was born March 20, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Dr. Charles L. and Martha George. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School and Indiana University with a Business Degree. She was also a member of Pi Phi Sorority. While attending IU, Barbara met her future husband, Donald C. Myers. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 8th, 2020. Barbara was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bridge and working in her flower gardens. She was an avid reader, loved romantic movies and cooking for, and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by her husband, Donald; children Lynne Plawecki (Jeff) and Steven Myers (Jill); grandchildren Kevin Plawecki (Tayler), Aaron Plawecki (fiancé Kelsey), and Erika Heath (Chad); great grandchildren Kasen Plawecki and Grayson Heath. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Henderson (Dr. Richard) of Mebane, NC, and brother, Charles George (Susan) of New Palestine, IN in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
