Harriet enjoyed recalling the days when she arranged a tea for Mamie Eisenhower during one of their presidential summer vacations and the chance meeting and conversation with Sir Laurence Olivier at Hazards Beach, while he was on location for the filming of "The Betsy". Harriet is survived by her children Stevens H. Baker of Newport, Deborah B. Lussier and her husband Peter of Swansea, MA, Heather R. Baker of Newport, and Douglas G. Baker and his wife Heather H. Baker of Newport. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Lauren Ann Horton and her husband Jonathan, Jennifer Elizabeth Lussier and her fiancé Zachary Reis, Amanda Leigh Lussier, Rachel Sarah Lussier, Chase Washburn Baker, Jackson Craig Baker, and Aubrey Elisabeth Baker. She is survived by a brother Caleb Anthony Hayward III of East Longmeadow, MA, a niece Elizabeth Fleury and her husband Stephen of Richford, VT, and a nephew Richard Webber and his wife Carolyn of Hampden, MA. She was preceded in death by her husband Craig P. Baker. She was also preceded in death by her sister Lucille Webber and her husband Frank of Marstons Mills, MA. Services will be private.
