Violet Marion O'Hara, age 79, of Longwood, Florida, passed away on July 8, 2020. Violet was born on September 15, 1940 in Astoria, Oregon, the daughter of John August & Ellen (Kinnunen) Patson. She is survived by her two sons John P. O'Hara and Michael J. O'Hara. Her five grandchildren, Devin M. O'Hara (wife - Melissa), John W. O'Hara, Kiara M. O'Hara and Liam P. O'Hara, Jacob P. O'Hara (wife - Victoria) and one great granddaughter Ava L. O'Hara - Daughter of Devin and Melissa. She had a spirit that was larger than life, always full of smiles, love and laughter. She enjoyed her music and loved to dance. And if you really wanted to make her happy... Vanilla Ice Cream would do the trick every time. You could ask her what she would like for dinner and nine times out of ten vanilla ice cream is the answer you would get. She retired from JC Penny's where she sold jewelry, a job she took much pride in and worked there for many years.
