others. Anyone who needed anything knew they could count on her. After retiring from AT Carol returned to her native home and was involved with the American Cancer Society and other community activities until debilitated by her illness. Carol was a member of St. John A.M.E. Zion Church throughout her life. She had a courageous spirit and faced life's challenges with an unyielding faith. Although we will definitely miss her we know without a doubt that she is in a better place. Carol leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Alice Gaither; five brothers, Gordon, Reginald, Victor, Michael, and Julian Gaither; three sisters, Doris Gaither Jimerson, Deborah Gaither Ellis, and Thomasine Gaither; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
