William "Stud" "June" Studevent

William Nathan Studevent, Jr., known as "June" and "Stud," was born on May 29, 1947 in Washington, D.C., to the late William Nathan Studevent, Sr., and Emma Lewis Studevent. He departed this life on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Rowan Regional Hospital. He joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at an early age and attended Iredell County Public Schools. He graduated from Unity High School in 1965. He had worked at Daimler Truck Company. He was married to JoAnn Nichols Steele in 2009. "June's" passions were his cars, riding his motorcycle, and camping. He was preceded in death by his only brother, Rondall Eugene Studevent and one grandson, Tyrell Studevent. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, JoAnn; two sons, Tyrone Studevent of Alexandria, VA, and Victor (Tanya) Lewis of Pennsauken, NJ; two daughters, Tanya LaFrance Lewis of New York, NY, and Lonna (Eric) Holbrook of Charlotte, NC; three step-sons, Myron Nichols and Todd (Rosa) Steele of Harmony, and Douglas (Tina) Nichols of Charlotte; seven grandchildren; two nephews, Reginald and Rickie Studevent; seven aunts, Gladys Studevent, Lois Rose, Barbara Lewis, Gwen Ickard, Faye Porter, Margaret Lewis, and a ...[more]
