Mr. Mark J. Litalien, of Taunton died Thursday, December 17 in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Bennett) Litalien. He was born 54 years ago in Leominster, the son of Jean (Auger) Doucet and the late Alfred Litalien. He was educated in Leominster, having graduated from St. Bernards Grammar School and Notre Dame High School, and had attended the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. Prior to his illness, he had been a self-employed contractor, operating the B and M Home Improvement Co. of Taunton for a number of years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Litalien was a 32nd Degree Mason, and was Past Master of the Wilder Lodge, A.F. & A.M. in Leominster. He was also a member of the Shriners, having served as Provost Guard of the Aleppo Temple in Wilmington. He was a communicant of St. Bernards Catholic Church in Leominster.
