George O. Miller

George O. Miller, 90 of Clearwater, Florida died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Comprehensive Health Care in Clearwater, Florida. Born Thursday, July 19, 1923 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Charles Miller and Lola Herring Miller. He was a 1941 graduate of Marion High School and was a WWII Army Veteran. He married Pauline Shepherd on Mar 13, 1942. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before she died on May 9, 2007. He retired in 1982 as a supervisor at RCA after more than 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending summers at Hill Lake, IN.He also enjoyed traveling with Pauline. They visited nearly every state and many foreign countries in their travels.While living in Florida, he also enjoyed recycling and donating the proceeds to the park he lived in.
